Furniture First Approves 3 New Members & Sets Date for Symposium Meeting
Furniture First buying group has recently approved three new retailer-stockholders for membership. David Pierce of Pierce & Sons Inc., and Furniture and Mattress Outlet, located in Muscatine, Idaho, Forrest Lilly of Indian River Furniture located in Rockledge, Florida, and Clay Erickson of Erickson Furniture located in Everett, Washington became members of the $1.4 billion buying group.Today, Furniture First has 160 retailer-stockholders with 328 stores in 44 states. The average member has been in business for 40 years, operates two stores and maintains a valued business presence in their community.
Furniture First holds two General Membership Meetings a year: one at the spring High Point Market in North Carolina and one at the winter Las Vegas Market. In addition to the General Membership Meetings, Furniture First also organizes educational symposiums relating to business operations and advertising strategies. This year's Symposium will be held August 19- 21, 2008 in Chicago, Illinois.
